Christian Formation

Our programs for young people strive to be informative, supportive, engaging and comfortable for children and youth.

Vacation Bible School, Summer 2008

God's Big Backyard is coming July 7-10, in the evenings from 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. We are looking for adults and youth interested in helping with the program. It is not too early to sign your 3-year olds to finished 5th graders up for some summer fun, to learn about how to serve Jesus and others. For information and to sign up contact Sheila Wiitala.

Nursery Hours

Below are the times when child care will be available for children up to age 4.

Sundays:  9:00 am- 12:15
Tuesdays:  12 noon to 1:00 (during Bible Study)
Wednesdays:  6:00- 7:00 pm

Sunday School Classes at a Glance

  • 9:45 am gathering time for ages 3-11, classes run from 10 am until 10:40 am every Sunday
  • Middle school and high school classes 11:15-12 three times per month

Sunday school classes for the 2007-08 school year began on September 16  and will continue until December 16.  Children ages 3-10 are invited downstairs for "gathering time" in the lounge at 9:45 am with Ms. Nickie. At 10:00 am these children will be escorted to their classrooms where they will engage in Sunday school classes until 10:40 am. At that time the school-age children will join the worship service in time for Holy Communion. There will be a pre-school group and a school-age group meeting each Sunday.

Living the Good News/ Children’s Chapel and will serve as the framework for pre-school, school-age and middle school groups. This curriculum follows the same liturgy that will be shared during the worship service.

During the last three Sundays of each month, the middle school and high school youth will be meeting for classes from 11:15 am to 12 noon. The middle schoolers will meet in a lower level classroom and the high schoolers will meet in the library. Outreach projects and activities will continue to be an important focus of the All Saints formation program.
